We are preparing for a bandy match in the rink, teachers vs 3-4 classes. Mr. Ikonen and Mr. Toroi are ready to fight.

Why do this?
The three schools involved, Eggeslevmagle skole in Denmark, Kuvansin koulu in Finland, and Yester Primary in Scotland all want their pupils to experience new ways of learning about other European cultures. Through the blog, we aim to allow the pupils in each class to experiment with ICT to share what goes on in each others' communities and countries. We are employing a range of ICT tools to achieve this. Digital photography, video, webconferencing and vokis all have the ability to enhance pupils' learning.

What lovely pictures!
Bandy is not a game that we know here in Scotland very well.
I do like the idea of teachers v pupils matches- we sometimes have a basketball match between teachers and pupils at the end of the year, in June.
