Merry Christmas Denmark and Finland!

Hello! We have been very busy in the last few weeks, as Christmas is drawing near.
We'd like to say to you all in Skaelskor and Kuvansi- have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We have been busy yesterday and today learning how to draw 3D type perspective pictures. Some of them are shown below. We hope you like them!

Can you see Hannele's flags on her back wall?

Ilpo has tiled his floor and his ceiling!

Here is Riina, with her room. Can you see her TV and TV unit?

Irja's room has a nice rug on her tiled floor.

Mika has a nice picture on his faraway wall to look at while sitting on his sofa!

Miia's room is very colourful, and she has black and white tiles on her floor!

Juha has a coffee table in the middle of his room.

Denmark says hello!

Hello Gifford and Kuvansi.

Sorry we have not written for a while, but the teacher had the flu and has been away for 3 weeks. Now we are back and yesterday we went on photosafari in our town. We are not able to ship the pictures until tomorrow. But we are enjoying your new posts.

Greetings from Denmark

Working on the weather!

In class, we have been learning about weather. As part of this, one afternoon, we used the internet to find out what the weather was in every European capital city!

Ahvo and Aliisa are working on their weather project.

We drew Lily of the Valley pictures

In art, we drew our own Lily of the Valley pictures, using pastel crayons. This is one of our finished examples!

Making tartan!

Recently, we had a special session where children from other classes came together, and we made our own tartan, using wool.

Here, Miia is working with one of our primary one pupils.

You might recognise two of last year's class, Broch and Craw, who came along to enjoy making tartan!
